Intensive Elementary French or Spanish

Have you ever wanted to learn a foreign language and didn’t feel like you had the time?  Intensive language study provides linguistic and cultural immersion that teaches basic speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills at an accelerated pace. Intensive language study not only offers the opportunity to satisfy your foreign language requirement but can enhance your career; particularly, if you will be working with people from other countries and cultures.

The intensive language program consists of three courses (five credit hours each for a total of 15 credit hours) which must be taken together. Classes will meet three hours daily for the entire semester. In order to increase your success in completing the intensive course series, you must pass a general language aptitude test that determines your ability to recognize language sounds and forms. Enrollment for intensive courses tends to fill up so early aptitude testing is advised.
