The Writing Center can help you become a better writer and help you improve your work. We offer free one-on-one and group consultations on papers, projects, and presentations. Drop on by, see our on-campus facility, and meet our trained graduate student writing consultants. Or join us online from anywhere at our new facility in Second Life. Make an appointment with a writing consultant and bring your papers, projects, and presentations with you. OR, work on your papers here and have a consultant nearby. Bring your group project to work at the Smartboard or Media:scape tables. Or just come hang out!

Our virtual Writing Center on the Internet in which participants interact through animated avatars. You can speak "face-to-face" with a Writing Consultant about your writing in real time through voice or text chat without ever stepping foot on UMSL's campus! It is the ultimate convenience!

 

Chat online and/or submit your paper for feedback

Make an online appointment to chat in real time with a writing consultant about your work or submit your writing for feedback.  Based on your needs, our consultants will work with your writing and send it back to you with revision suggestions.
