Leah Sackett comes to UMSL with a background in journalism, public relations, marketing, and online copy writing. She has written copy for such clients as Flooring America, Carpet One, Home Decorator’s Collection, and Purina. Sackett leverages her professional experience in the classroom to create a practical writing application for her students. She teaches both on-line and face-to-face courses in business writing, advance expository composition, and writing for the web. Sackett has been a part of the English Department faculty since 2008.
