Teaching/Advising Position
Assistant Teaching Professor and Undergraduate Advisor in Biology
The Department of Biology, University of Missouri – St. Louis invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track). This position is a nine-month, full-time appointment beginning January 1, 2012. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in General Biology, Developmental Biology, and Cell Biology. Teaching will involve lecture, laboratory, and supervision of graduate teaching assistants. Some evening teaching is to be expected. The successful candidate also may participate in advising of undergraduate students.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline; previous teaching experience or post-doctoral research experience is desirable. Salary with benefits will be commensurate with experience.
