HEC (Higher Education Channel)
VIP telecourses are aired on cable television stations serving St. Louis City and most of St. Louis County. Check your cable listing guide to locate the specific channel number for "HEC" in your area.

If "HEC" does not appear on your cable listing guide, your cable company does not broadcast this channel.

Channel 9 - KETC
A limited number of telecourses are aired on Channel 9. If there is no broadcast schedule for Channel 9 in the "VIP Telecourse Packet," the telecourse is not being aired over Channel 9.

The appropriate Broadcast Schedule (HEC, Channel 9 or both) for your telecourse can be located in the "VIP Telecourse Packet" purchased in the University’s bookstore.

University Libraries
Telecourse tapes are available in the Thomas Jefferson and Ward E. Barnes Libraries. The Thomas Jefferson Library carries all VIP telecourse tapes with the exception of the education telecourse tapes. The education telecourse tapes are only located in the Ward E. Barnes Library. The libraries have a limited number of tapes, which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will need a valid student identification card to check tapes out or to view them in the libraries.

NOTE: Student workers in the libraries are sometimes unfamiliar with the program and the tapes. If you have a problem, please ask for the librarian on duty.

RMI — Rental Service
Video and/or audio lessons for most VIP telecourses can be rentedd from RMI Media Productions. Rentals are $65.00 per telecourse (includes shipping and handling)and $55 per telecourse for Video Streaming Access. All fees are non-refundable. RMI accepts MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express or money orders. University Bookstore-Rental Services

The Video Instructional Program does not loan video or audio tapes.
