Sean will be joining UMSL this fall as the Student Retention Coordinator supporting the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Fine Arts and Communication. Sean brings over 8 years of experience working with at risk populations, enrollment management, curriculum design, program evaluation, and academic support from Washington University, St. Louis Community College, and DeVry University. Sean holds a B.S. in Psychology from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a M.Ed. focusing on Adult and Higher Education Administration from UMSL. He is currently a doctoral student at UMSL, studying higher education and student services.
In addition, Sean will work as an adjunct faculty member at St. Louis Community College, instructing courses aimed at acclimating first year students to institutional standards/policies, sharing best practices, and professional development. Sean welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with professionals who share his passion for student excellence.
