Timothy Wombles graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BA in English. In 2014 he finished UMSL’s Master of Fine Arts program in creative writing. While in the MFA program, he was offered a Graduate Assistantship in the UMSL Marketing and Communications Web Office, helping with the overhaul of UMSL’s website and transition to new format. He worked extensively with the Cascade Content Management System and gained experience learning the ropes of building websites, as well as produced new content across all UMSL websites. Midway through the MFA program he was lucky enough to be offered another GA position in the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office where he worked as a webmaster for CAS. In addition, he co-taught an undergraduate creative writing class.

Upon completing the MFA program at UMSL, he was offered a position as Media Producer in the Dean’s Office, where he spends his time managing and building websites across the College of Arts and Sciences. In his down time he bones up on HTML and JavaScript. He also manages newsletters and produces minor media content from posters to slideshows and anything else the College may need.
