rRyan Krull was an MFA candidate in UMSL’s creative writing program when he began working in the Dean’s Office of the College of Arts and Sciences in June of 2012. As a graduate assistant he taught multiple sections of University Studies every semester as well as helped students schedule their classes and plan for graduation as part of his role in the advising office. After completing his MFA in May of 2014, he taught for six weeks in Shanghai, China but is now back working full time in the college as a Student Support Specialist. In addition to University Studies, he also teaches Fundamentals of Reporting and assists with the innovative, interdisciplinary History 1111: Reacting to the Past. He considers himself lucky to be a part of UMSL’s College of Arts and Sciences, where he gets to work with students who are serious about getting the most out of their education..
