She remained in the University Advising Center till September 2005. To date she has moved back to the College of Arts & Science where she continues to serve students.
Betty's degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Saint Louis University, and a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. She has worked in higher education since 1990. Prior to coming to UM-St. Louis she served as an Admissions Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at St. Louis University.
Betty takes pride in establishing a standard of excellence when dealing with faculty, staff and most importantly the students. She is committed to making an investment in students by determining what it is they want and when they want it. Then set some goals, establish a plan and then work together to help them achieve it. Her motto for success is "Focus on the solutions, not the problems".
