Orientation
After being approved for Federal Work Study funding, students receive a packet of paperwork that includes an orientation schedule and several forms to complete prior to attending an orientation session. You must attend an orientation session and complete the required employment paperwork prior to starting work. All student employees must attend a Federal Work Study orientation session before they start working the first time. Employment paperwork that is necessary for payroll purposes is completed at these sessions. The procedures, responsibilities, and obligations associated with being a student employee in the Federal Work Study program are also discussed during the orientation session.
