About Career Services

Career Services assists students and recent graduates with planning, creating, implementing and evaluating career development and job search strategies by working in partnership with employers and the campus community.

Career Services is committed to:

    • Supporting our diverse and talented student and alumni population.
    • Connecting with employers, the campus community and the surrounding communities.
    • Working with employers in the St. Louis region and beyond.



    • Intern Resource Network (A web-based resource that is a clearinghouse of information on sexual harassment for college students in internships, their campus advisors, and best practices for employers and site supervisors working with students)

Teresa Balestreri


Teresa manages the staff and operations of the office and assists the staff with career counseling/coaching appointments.



Emily Rapko McEneny
Associate Director

Emily manages projects and reporting for the office and assists students and recent graduates from Communication, Media Studies and the majors from the School of Fine & Performing Arts.




Rachel Boehlow
Assistant Director

Rachel manages outreach, workshops and classroom presentations. She assists students and recent graduates from the College of Nursing, School of Social Work, and Social Science & Humanities majors from the College of Arts & Sciences.



Ashley Horton
Department Assistant

Ashley operates the front desk and helps students and alumni make and prepare for appointments.  She assists with general career services questions, including navigation of the Career Services website and TritonCareers.


Employer Relations Coordinator

Works with employers to develop recruiting strategies and facilitate the most effective ways to connect with UMSL students.  They coordinate the career fairs and employer facilitated career events. They also work with on-campus student employment/Federal Work-study. 



Erica McClure
Employer Support and Technology Specialist

Erica coordinates the efforts of on-campus recruiting, and serves as both the office webmaster and TritonCareers administrator. 

Career Services Coordinator

Assists students and recent graduates from the College of Education, Joint Engineering Program and Hard Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences. 



Lynn Willits
Career Services Coordinator

Lynn assists students and recent graduates from the College of Business Administration and the Computer Science and Economics majors from the College of Arts & Sciences.
