Credit hours: 3.0

Prerequisites: Math 202, Math 310, and Math 345 Classical functionals, minimization of functionals, EulerLagrange equations, appropriate function spaces, weak solutions, existence of solutions, approximation theory, practical applications and finite element approach to solutions will be covered.
