How to Transfer to UMSL
Submit the General Application for Undergraduate Admission with the application fee (if you have never attended UMSL).

Graduate
In order to obtain graduate credit for graduate-level work, students must be admitted to the Graduate School. Students who have not yet been admitted to the Graduate School may sign up for graduate credit for courses during one semester. In order to obtain graduate credit, they must be admitted to the Graduate School prior to the end of that first semester.
Students not wishing to pursue a graduate degree may be admitted as Non-Degree (ND) students. ND students are required to have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. A formal application is required. The only official transcript required of students seeking admission as ND students is the transcript from the institution that awarded the baccalaureate degree. Students admitted as ND students may take as many credits as they wish, but they must maintain a B average. Course work completed by an ND student is not regarded as completed within a degree program. If such course work is later to be applied to a degree program, it must be approved by the department and may not exceed nine credit hours.
Students wishing to enter graduate degree programs must submit official copies of transcripts from institutions granting the applicant a degree or where the applicant has been enrolled for 15 or more credit hours.
