Guidelines for Proposal Submission

Submission Deadline: March 1, 2006

1. Acceptable papers:

Papers should fall within one of the four categories:

A) Practitioner Concerns
B) Reports on Research
C) Evaluation Studies
D) Methods and Issues in Research

Published papers or presentations given at earlier professional meetings are not to be submitted.

2. Electronic submission:

All proposals must be received via e-mail as attached files by March 1, 2006. Send proposals to:

3. E-mail format:

Subject line: MWR2P

Body of the message:

  • Title of the paper
  • Contact information for all authors to include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address
  • Warrant statement: “I (we) warrant that if this paper is accepted, I (we) will submit a six-page (single-spaced, typed) paper for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings. I (we) understand if this paper is not received in electronic form in either Word (version 6.0 or higher) or WordPerfect (version 6.0 or higher) by July 15, 2006, this paper will not be included as part of the proceedings.”

4. Proposal attachment:

  • Submit the proposal, not to exceed three double-spaced pages, as an attachment in either Word (version 6.0 or higher) or WordPerfect (version 6.0 or higher).
  • Type only the title, proper category, and session preference (45-minute concurrent or 10-minute poster session) at the top of the first page.
  • Do not type names of the author(s) anywhere on the proposal.
  • Set margins at 1" on sides and bottom and 1-1/2" on top of page.
  • Use 12-point Times or Times Roman font.
