Graduate Student Pre-conference

For 25 years, the Midwest Research-to-Practice Conference has provided a forum for graduate students to make the transition to researcher/practitioner within the field of Adult Education. This year, graduate students are invited to submit ideas to be discussed at the pre-conference. To make this easier, a grad student online dialogue will be conducted from Sept. 12-Oct. 4.
The pre-conference will include the following highlights:
- 25 years of the Midwest Research-to-Practice Conference and the Graduate Student (Dr. Mary Cooper, Assistant Professor, College of Education, University of Missouri-St. Louis)
- Faculty Perspectives (Dr. John A. Henschke, Associate Professor, College of Education, University of Missouri-St. Louis; and Dr. Trenton R. Ferro, Professor Emeritus, Indiana University of Pennsylvania; Part-Time Faculty, Walden University)
- Graduate Student Perspectives (Casandra Blassingame, Adult Education Doctoral Candidate, University of Missouri-St. Louis)
- Research in Process (Rosanne Vrugtman, Adult Education Doctoral Candidate, University of Missouri-St. Louis)
- Ask the Experts (break-out sessions)
