Discount Airfare
American Airlines is offering a discount of 5% off the lowest applicable published airfare for conference attendees valid on roundtrip flights to St. Louis June 1-10, 2008.
- If you are originating in the United States or Canada, call their Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-433-1790 and refuer to promotion code is A8668DB.
- If you are traveling internationally, call your local reservation number and refer to promotion code STARfile A8668DB.
There will also be a separate ticketing charge of $15 USD per ticket for tickets purchased via the phone or $20 USD per ticket for tickets purchased at the airport. This amount is subject to change. At this time there is no ticketing fee for reservations made and ticketed on www.AA.com. The percentage discount can be booked online at www.AA.com for American Airlines and American Eagle flights only.
Airport
The University of Missouri-St. Louis is just three miles from Lambert International Airport and 11 miles from downtown
St. Louis. Lambert is served by all the major carriers, making St. Louis easily accessible from any point in the United States.
MetroLink
The MetroLink system connects the airport to downtown St. Louis and many points of interest in between, including UMSL. The University is served by two MetroLink stations, UMSL-North and UMSL-South. The J.C. Penney Conference Center, site of the AERC2008, is just a two-minute walk from the UMSL-North station. At the airport, one-way MetroLink tickets may be purchased at either the Main Terminal or the East Terminal at a cost of $3.25. At all other MetroLink stations, one-way tickets are only $2.
