Think ahead!
(Start the application process early so you don't have to cram.)

September 2012	Have you taken the ACT? (Score needed for application.)
October 2012	Complete your application for admission to the University of Missouri-St. Louis. (Forward application and associated fee to the Admissions Office.)
November 2012	Request letters of recommendation. (Use the Request for Letter of Recommendation form.)
Nov. 29 , 2012	Follow-up as necessary on recommendation letters.
Dec. 15, 2012	Begin drafting your 500-word essay.
Dec. 18, 2012	Download and complete the UMSL-Bound Scholarship Application. Copy for application packet.
Jan. 7, 2013	Follow-up as necessary on recommendation letters.
Jan. 18, 2013	Obtain copy of your high school transcript. (Transcript must include class rank and ACT score.)
Jan. 20, 2013	Finalize your 500-word essay.
Jan. 25, 2013	Confirm your letters of recommendation have been mailed.
Jan. 27, 2013	Assemble application packet and mail to ACP office: • application form • high school transcript • 500-word essay Confirm that your letters of recommendation have been mailed directly to Dr. Kathleen Burns.
Feb. 1 , 2013	APPLICATION DEADLINE! All materials due.
March 1, 2013	Must be admitted to UMSL by this time.
