Student Scholarships

Student scholarships are provided to each of the high schools participating in the Advanced Credit Program. The number of qualified students eager to enroll in Advanced Credit Program courses but lacking the financial resources to do so, even at the reduced rate, prompted the initiation of the student scholarship policy.

Advanced Credit Student Scholarship Policy
Revised August 2000

Scholarships are provided to each Advanced Credit Program high school based on the previous year's enrollment with a minimum of one scholarship per school. Selection of the scholarship recipients is determined by the school based on financial need and academic achievement. Scholarship forms are distributed to the high school contact person prior to registration to enable students to register on time. Each scholarship is the equivalent of one course (three to five hours). A maximum of one scholarship per recipient per semester shall be awarded.
