FACULTY SENATE NEWS AND NOTES:
Please mark your calendars now to attend the annual Senate/Assembly banquet on the evening of Tuesday, April 25. A formal invitation will be sent closer to the date.
Elections for vacancies on the Senate/Assembly are about to begin. We are moving ahead at top speed so we will know the pool of candidates eligible to serve as Chairperson and Secretary. If your term continues past 2006 and you have interest in serving in one of these capacities, please speak to Chair Speck at your earliest opportunity.
The Senate Office has just learned of the passing of the father of Vice President for Academic Affairs Stephen Lehmkuhle. Steve is a former Senate Chair.
Joan M. Arban
Executive Assitant to the Chairperson
