Participation in Commencement

HAVE YOUR OWN REGALIA? - If you plan to participate, you must reserve a seat - contact Cindy Vantine at ext. 5442 or email cindy_vantine@umsl.edu

RENTING?  - To place your order, e-mail Stephanie Eaton. If you have never ordered before, you will need to provide the following information - height, coat size, last degree and institution where it was earned.

All rental fees will be paid by University Advancement. Please remember, once ordered, it must be paid for even if you do not attend the ceremony!

Day of Commencement

• Rental attire will be available the day of graduation in the faculty robing room. Please inform the bookstore if you would like to pick it up earlier
• The faculty and doctoral candidates will robe in Room 219 of the Mark Twain Building.   
• Reserved parking will be available along West Drive.

FINE QUALITY CAP AND GOWN ORDER

The university offers an academic regalia program for all tenured and tenure-track faculty. The university will purchase your custom gown, hood and cap (a $400 value). It is yours to keep.

Other full-time faculty may be eligible for this offer at the discretion of your respective deans. For more information, call Cindy Vantine at ext. 5442.
