The Program:
Speakers at the 2011 conference will examine victimization and strategies for reducing adolescent victimization. Research findings from St. Louis and other cities will identify the extent and type of victimizations occurring both in the community and in schools. Evidence-based policies and programs for violence reduction will also be discussed. Specifically, speakers will examine three main themes:
- youth victimization in the community
- youth victimization and bullying at school
- strategies for reducing violence at school
