Arts and Sciences Supplemental Fee

The Arts and Sciences Supplemental Fee is a per credit hour fee approved by the Board of Curators and assessed on all undergraduate courses taught by the College of Arts and Sciences. This mandatory fee is in place to offset the high cost of providing student support services that benefit the entire campus such as the Mathematics and Writing Academic Center, the Science and Technology Academic Center, the Veterans Center and the ALEKS math placement tutoring option, as well as innovative course development for general education coursework required of all students.  20% of the funds generated from this supplemental fee will be used for need based scholarships to offset the financial hardship that the new fee may impose on the neediest students.
