Healthy for Life: T.E. Atkins Wellness Program is a UM System employee wellness program designed to empower positive lifestyle choices, achieve optimal wellness, and help employees reach their full potential. The UM System cares about the personal health and well-being of every faculty, staff member, and retiree. Since 2012, the university has promoted a formal Culture of Health program to advocate for creating work environments that preserve the health of employees and promote their ability to excel at their jobs while honoring the importance of family and community. The Culture of Health advances five priorities: Be active, eat well, work-life fit, work healthy and empower and appreciate.

Healthy for Life Yoga Classes

Register online or visit Member Services to register at the Recreation and Wellness Center.

Upcoming Class Sessions:

"Feed your body, mind and spirit in this 45 minute lunch time class in studio 4 at the Recreation and Wellness Center.  The focus of this yoga class is to calm the mind, stretch and strengthen the body while bringing balance and relaxation to your life."

Summer Session: Mondays AND/OR Thursdays, 11:45 AM-12:30 PM, June 4 - August 2 (No classes July 1 or 5)
Price for Monday OR Thursday: Members-$24, Nonmembers-$40
Price for Monday AND Thursday: Members-$48, Nonmembers-$80
