Register NOW for spring classes at UMSL and join the largest alumni network in St. Louis!

It's not too late to register for the spring semester at UMSL! Whether you're a current student, considering returning to college to complete your degree, or you're ready to transfer to the region's premiere public university — you still have time to register for classes now through Jan. 26. Select the appropriate link below to get started:

If you're currently enrolled as a student at UMSL, spring registration is a breeze. Students can register in myView or may visit the Registrar's Office in 269 MSC through Jan. 26. Note that your degree program may require you to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes.

A visiting student is one who has completed at least one semester and is actively enrolled at another institution with plans to return to that university in a following semester. Visiting students are not required to submit an application fee or transcripts. At the end of the session, students must request that their grades be reported by transcript to their respective schools. This is only for undergraduate students and financial aid is not available. Note that visiting students may need to submit a transcript if a particular course requires proof of a pre-requisite.

NOTE: Students at MU, UMKC and Missouri S&T do not need to apply...you can register for summer courses directly from your campus student portal.

Students enrolled at other universities may transfer to UMSL before the spring semester. Transfer students must complete an application for admission and pay a $35 application fee. Applicants with 24 or more transferable, college credit hours at the time of application need only submit official transcripts from the universities where they have earned credit. Those with fewer than 24 hours will also need to submit high school transcripts reflecting composite ACT scores.

A lifelong learner is a student that is interested in taking classes for personal or professional development, but not seeking a degree from UMSL. To get started, complete the application for admission and mark "non-degree-seeking". Non-degree-seeking students are not required to submit an application fee or transcripts. Admission applies only for that particular semester.
