National Access Award

First-Time Freshmen:

Pay in-state fees if you:

  • Have a minimum entry ACT composite score of 28 or above (SAT 1240);
  • Meet regular admission requirements;
  • Enroll full-time (e.g. 15 credit hours per semester).

Receive a $5000 fee reduction (per year) if you:

  • Have a minimum entry ACT composite score of 24 or above (SAT 1090); Meet regular admission requirements;
  • Enroll full-time (e.g. 15 credit hours per semester).

Transfer Students:

Pay in-state fees if you:

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale) across a minimum of 24 college-level credit hours;
  • Enroll full-time (e.g. 15 credit hours per semester).

Receive a $5000 fee reduction (per year) if you:

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) across a minimum of 24   college-level credit hours;
  • Enroll full-time (e.g. 15 credit hours per semester).

Renewal Requirements:

  • Maintain continuous full-time enrollment;
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.

To Apply:

  1. Mail a completed undergraduate admission application to the UM-St. Louis Admissions office or apply online;
  2. Have official transcripts sent directly to the Admissions Office from previous schools attended;
  3. Submit official ACT/SAT scores to the Admissions Office.

NOTE: No additional application is required for the National Access Award.

The National Access Award will be applied toward non-resident fees. The National Access Award is not available to International or Graduate students.
