Taught by Alice Layton and Chris Miller, this course includes practicing entrepreneurs, focusing on providing an introduction to the “state of the art” in the skills, perspectives and theories that innovators in any field or industry need to increase the likelihood of their entrepreneurial successes. With an emphasis on the application of systems and design thinking to entrepreneurial activities both within existing businesses and organizations, as well as new commercial and social startups, the class provides an overview of the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship with “real-world” examples and case studies.
