About the Startup Internship
If you are student with an interest in becoming an entrepreneur or learning how innovation can get you ahead, this program is for you. Up to ten students from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) will have the chance to intern for clean energy startups in the summer 2017 Ameren Accelerator Cohort. You will have the chance to work a number of roles to understand many aspects and skills needed to start a business
This internship program is extremely different from other startup internships out there. Not only is this program exclusively for UMSL, but we want students from all colleges and stages in their college career. The Ameren Accelerator Cohort need self-starting UMSL students with the entrepreneur spirit to help their companies thrive.
We want the future innovators at UMSL to participate in this program. Those selected as interns will gain the perfect experience for a career in innovation or those who will someday launch a business. For three months, interns will work 20 hours per week for up to seven of the best clean energy startups, participating in the Ameren Accelerator Cohort startup company member. Because startups expand quickly, each intern will fill many roles in social media, marketing, sales, web design, and more. During their time with the Cohort, interns will work on a project and present it at the end of the internship.
