Before you make your appointment,

Will you participate in our study?

We are conducting a study of the Second Life Writing Center and are interested in learning two things: (1) if Second Life is a viable environment for online tutoring, and (2) in what ways the environment can be designed to best suit students' needs.

Your participation will not take much time. We will ask you to complete a 3-4 minute survey. We might also ask you to participate in a 5-10 minute interview, too, if you are willing. You are not obliged to participate and at any point, you may stop participating and opt out of the study.

Your help will lead us to a better understanding of the future of online academic support. If you'd like to learn more about the study, please contact:
