Programs offered in the UM-St. Louis Graduate School fall into two categories: professional programs, designed to develop special competence in a particular field; and academic programs, designed to develop your command of a range of related subjects within a field of research.
These programs are carefully structured to meet the demands of the metropolitan area and to provide the skills and professional competence needed to succeed in today's world.
Advising: Upon admission to the University, students are assigned an advisor in the graduate program to which they are admitted. Applicants as well as admitted students are encouraged to contact the graduate program director listed under the program on the Graduate School's website.
