The UMSL/Washington University Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program offered by UMSL in partnership with Washington University, combines the resources and faculties of both universities to provide excellent, affordable undergraduate degree programs. The program offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. All three degree programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Pre-engineering and general education courses are offered at UMSL and upper-level engineering courses are offered in the late afternoons and evenings on the Washington University campus. The schedule permits students to attend full-time or part-time, and to co-op during the day at local engineering firms. Students receive their degrees from the University of Missouri and pay tuition for all courses at UMSL tuition rates, plus a small surcharge for the engineering courses.
Advising: Students are assigned an academic advisor on each of the campuses. In addition, they enjoy access to the resources and services provided by both universities.
