BS Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, Tennessee State University
MEd in Administration and Supervision, Tennessee State University

Biographical Narrative:

Cheryl has been with UMSL since the Fall of 2010, and is a Project Coordinator with Project RAM (Research to Action in Mentoring) for youth ages 12-17.  She has experience teaching Elementary Education, Adult Education including General Education and English as a Second Language.  Cheryl also has many years of experience in Case Management and Career Counselor for populations such as Welfare to Work, Unemployed and Dislocated Workers, and the Katrina and Rita evacuees.  Before coming to UMSL, Cheryl was a Recreation Coordinator planning events for a city of over 10,000 residents, youth programs, and operation of a senior citizen group.
