Prasad is a Doctoral Candidate in Business Administration (Emphasis: Management Information Systems, Supporting field: Logistics and Supply Chain Management) at University of Missouri, St. Louis. Prasad has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, India and a Master of Science in Business Information Technology from Middlesex University, U.K. Prior to joining the Doctoral program, Prasad worked in the IT industry in several areas including Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Semiconductor research and development and, Pharmaceutical research. His research interests include Knowledge Management, Information Systems Outsourcing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Information System Development Methodologies and MIS Organization Behavior. Prasad's work has been published in The Communication Of the Association of Information Systems (CAIS) and Information Systems Frontiers. He is actively involved in academia as a reviewer for several Information Systems Journals and conferences, including ICIS. Prasad teaches undergraduate courses in Security and Information Systems, Design and Management of Telecommunications and Information Systems concepts, in the Information Systems department at University of Missouri, St. Louis and has served as a teaching assistant for graduate level database management courses. |
