Faculty Overview
The program faculty offer a strong combination of academic excellence and practical museum experience.
No one teaches our students unless they have substantial and successful real-world experience working in museums. Some seminars are led by senior staff from local museums. Others are taught by full-time faculty, including three endowed professors. We also bring in top museum leaders from around the country for special lectures and workshops. This mix ensures that students receive a powerful mix of theoretical foundations for understanding museums and their roles in society, and practical skills in museum work.
