UMSL

St. Louis
The St. Louis metropolitan area has approximately three million people and is a cosmopolitan blend of the American Midwest and ethnic influences from all over the world. The city features a number of history, art, and cultural museums, an award-winning symphony, botanical gardens, a world-class zoo, and one of the largest urban parks in the country.
Located on the Mississippi River, St. Louis is home to three professional sports teams and 10 Fortune 500 companies. A variety of excellent restaurants and shopping venues are also found throughout the area, as is a mainstream amusement park.
