John Grant Helm Scholarship 2013 Winner Jill Bernard
Jill Bernard is pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Marketing as a supporting field. She is a Boeing Fellow and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the American Marketing Association. Dr. Daniel Rust spoke on the topic of current trends in transportation at the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA) Chapter 82’s National Transportation Week Luncheon on May 14, 2013, in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Wendell Cox Visited the Center for Transportation Studies
Wendell Cox is the principal and sole owner of Wendell Cox Consultancy/Demographia, based in the St. Louis and editor of three web sites, Demographia, The Public Purpose and Urban Tours by Rental Car. Mr. Cox is known as a leading proponent of the use of the private car over rail projects. He spoke at the CTS on urban transportation planning and economics.
Thomas Hoback Gave a Presentation on North America's Railroads

Ana Bolanos Received the John Helm Scholarship 2013
John Helm was an invaluable member of the board of the St. Louis Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). His devotion and obvious dedication to the success of this organization was paramount. In memory of John, the St. Louis Roundtable has created a scholarship that rewards one Logistics/Supply Chain Management student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis each year with financial assistance toward academic tuition.
A student in the Pierre Laclede Honors College, Ana Bolanos is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Logistics emphasis, as well as the Minor in Transportation Studies. Ms. Bolanos worked at FedEx before completing internships at Boeing Defense Space & Security as a business analyst.
