Course Requirements:

Exams: There will be three in-class exams. Dates will be announced well in advance.

Attendance: In order to perform well in this class, your attendance is necessary. If you miss class, you are responsible for the material covered.

Participation: For a few classes, you will be asked to prepare material for class discussion.

Written Assignment: The written assignment will be due near the end of the class. More details will be given midway through the semester.

Optional Assignment(s): During the course of the semester, you may be given the option of undertaking an optional assignment. If you choose to do so, your performance can either raise or lower your grade. More will be said about the optional assignment early in the semester.

Course Evaluation: The percentages listed are approximations. The weight given to each requirement may change slightly.
