FEE SCHEDULE, 2008

Copy Service Prices and Procedures:

Upon completion of the order, the staff handles all copying and notifies researchers of the exact fee, including shipping, handling and any applicable sales tax. WHMC-St. Louis mails copies upon payment receipt. It accepts only cash, money orders or checks made payable to "WHMC." Send payment only when instructed. WHMC does not refund overpayments.

Research Processing Fee:

A non-refundable processing fee applies to requests to search collections for specific items or information or to make reproductions: $10 for Missouri residents; $20 for non-residents.

The non-refundable fee includes up to ten photocopies or microfilm printouts. Additional charges apply to requests for photocopies/printouts over that amount and requests for photographs, digital images and other reproductions services.

Printed, Photo Paper -- any size up to 8.5x11

$10.00 (Color or Black and White)

Printed, Photographic Ink-Jet Paper -- any size up to 8.5x11

Color: $15.00; Black & White: $12.00

Digital Files: $7.00

Photographs

Prices for photographic reprints, slides, color transparencies, etc. are available on request. These processes are made off site by a commercial studio. A $15 service charge per order will be added to commercial studio fees.

Patrons cannot use their own cameras to take images of WHMC documents.

USE FEES:

In addition to the reproduction cost, the following use fees apply to one-time use:

For Profit Use:  Publication, $ 50.00; Exhibition, film or video, $100.00

Not For Profit (Free to the public): All uses $ 10.00

This fee applies to each image, each use. WHMC does not charge use fees to donors.

All use fees are for one time use. Prints and slides used for publication, exhibition, film and video will be returned to WHMC after use.

CITATION: The credit line: "Western Historical Manuscript Collection, University of Missouri-St. Louis" must be used for all published and exhibited photographs.
