Patti Rosenthal is a lecturer, and the Co-Director of Field Education and Student Services for the Social Work Program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Patti coordinates practicum placements for the MSW students, and teaches practicum seminar and practice courses. She also leads a Social Work Field Education Collaboration project in conjunction with the St. Louis University School of Social Service and the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. Patti was named the 2002-2003 Lecturer of the Year by the College of Arts and Sciences.
Prior to her affiliation with UM-St. Louis, Patti served as Executive Director of Kids In the Middle, Inc. for ten years. Kids In the Middle is a non-profit organization that serves children and their families who are experiencing family disruption due to separation, divorce, re-marriage or other family transitions. She has also worked as a family therapist, adolescent counselor and child abuse investigator.
Patti is actively involved in the community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Support Network where she chairs the Program Committee. She also serves on advisory boards for Kids In the Middle, Catholic Community Services/Catholic Family Counseling and for the Human Services Program at the St. Louis Community College.
Patti received her Master of Social Work degree from the George
Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. She
is licensed as a clinical social worker in the state of Missouri.
