General Information
Quality education
at a reasonable cost is the primary reason students attend the Evening
College of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The same high standards
apply to both day and evening courses, and, in fact, many of the same faculty
teach in both the day and evening divisions. If you are interested in earning
a degree, there is no difference between degrees awarded in the day and
the evening. For this reason, a student can switch from evening to day
should there be a change in one's work schedule.
Many employers,
recognizing the value of continuing education, encourage their employees
to explore the opportunities at UM-St. Louis. Employees of virtually every
major corporation, school district, and institution in the area attend
the Evening College. After all, most Evening College students work full
time during the day, either at home or at their present jobs, permitting
them to begin classes after 5 PM. It isn't easy, but our graduates tell
us it's worth the effort.
What can the Evening
College do for you?
The Evening College
is here to assist you. We're open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through

evening hours.
The Evening College
allows you to participate in classes and complete a degree in the evening.
If you are in a hurry, you can do it almost as fast as in the day, or you
can set your own pace.
If you already
have a degree, the Evening College can help you keep up with your field
