Adding/Dropping/Changing Courses

 

Spring 2013 Important Dates

Winter Intersession classes begin.
Beginning of $50 late registration fee.
Last day to add a WI course.

Monday 1/7/2013

Last day to drop a WI course without receiving a grade.
Last day to place a WI course on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. 

Wednesday 1/9/2013
Last day to drop a WI course with a grade of EX or F. Wednesday 1/16/2013
Winter Intersession classes end. Saturday 1/19/2013
Spring 2013 Classes begin 8:00 am. Tuesday 1/22/2013
Last day any student may enroll (enter a course for credit).
Last day Registrar's Office will move students from the wait list to open sections.
Monday 1/28/2013
Last day to drop a course or withdraw from school without receiving a grade.
Last day any student may place a course on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis.
Monday 2/18/2013
Mid Semester. Saturday 3/16/2013
Spring recess Saturday 3/23/2013 - Sunday 3/31/2013

Last day a student may drop course. Instructor's approval is required. A grade of EX or F will be assigned.

Last day a student may withdraw from school. Instructor's and Dean's approvals are required. Grades of EX or F will be assigned for each course.

Spring 2013 Classes end Saturday 5/11/2013
Final Examinations begin Monday 5/13/2013
Spring 2013 Semester closes.
Commencement.
Saturday 5/18/2013 - Sunday 5/19/2013

No student may cease attendance without formally withdrawing or dropping courses after classes begin.


Adding Courses

Students may add courses without administrative approval through the "official last day to enroll" via MyView , or in person.

Dropping Courses

Students may drop courses without administrative approval through the "official last day to drop classes without receiving a grade" via MyView, or in person. After the "official last day to drop classes without receiving a grade" students may drop classes (with appropriate signatures) in the Registrar's Office, the Advising Office, or the Dean's Office.

Section Changes

After the 'official last day to enroll" signatures of both the instructor of the section being added, and the instructor of the section being dropped are required.

Withdrawal from the University

Students may withdraw from the University without administrative approval through the "official last day to drop classes without receiving a grade", the instructor's and dean's signatures are required.
