Leadership Team
Dr. Murphy is an active member of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's
Leadership Team. Through the Satellite Leadership Academy Program, Dr. Murphy participates in the Outdoor Leadership Experience
as an Outdoor/Wilderness Facilitator.
The Satellite Academy Outdoor Leadership Experience is designed to develop leadership, to encourage growth, to promote interpersonal understanding and cooperation, to foster environmental appreciation and to teach basic wilderness skills.
Leadership Academy (Satellite Academy Program)As a member of the State Leadership Team, Dr. Murphy attended the Summer Institute at Harvard's Principals' Center. The focus of the summer institute was "accountability."
