Airport Arrival Information Sheet

Important! Make sure you request airport pick-up for August 7 or 8, 2008!

If you have turned in the white "Acceptance and Arrival Form" from your admissions packet and have requested to be met at the St. Louis International Airport, please follow these steps after you arrive in St. Louis.

1. Find a UM-St. Louis representative on the Main Terminal, Lower Level. The UM-St. Louis representative will have either a sign with your last (family) name or a sign for the university. If no one is there to greet you, call the International Student and Scholar Services office at 516-5229 (Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5pm). If you arrive outside the normal office hours, call the office mobile phone at 401-0637 from the payphones located near the baggage claim. You will need 50 cents in coins.

2. If you have not made arrangements for someone to meet you at the airport, you will need to contact your housing office to see if you can move in. If they are not open when you arrive or you are unable to move in, you will need to make your own arrangements to stay in a hotel. Below is a list of hotels near the airport and University of Missouri-St. Louis. You may also want to visit the Reservation Center at the airport located on the lower level of the Main Terminal, near Baggage Claim Carousel M6.

If no one answers the office phone and you have a room reserved, you can go directly to UM-St. Louis Residential Life or the University Meadows during the day between 9am and 5pm. It will cost approximately $10-$15 to go by taxi. The taxi services are located outside the main airport terminal (look for signs).
