Chemistry/Physics 4802, Secondary Education 3240
Fall, 2003


This Methods course is intended for students nearing completion of the requirements for Missouri state certification to teach physics or chemistry at the secondary level.  Its prerequisites include a near-major in one of those content areas, and completion of Level I and Level II courses in the College of Education.  During the Fall, 2003 semester, it meets TR, 4:00-5:15 in 451 Benton Hall.

Most of the course material is available to enrolled students through the MyGateway system.  Aim your browser at the URL http://mygateway.umsl.edu, and login with your ID and password.

The links below lead to some resources that will be helpful as you prepare your portfolio in electronic format.  The Web page you are reading now was itself prepared using Composer, as an example of how a simple Web site can be created quickly and easily.
