of 1983," a book under contract with The University Press of Kansas
Other Activities
- Past-president Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association
- Shipboard lecturer for Lindblad Expeditions since 1990 (on the Columbia River and in Alaska) and train lecturer for the American Orient Express Railway Company since 1995 (across the United States and Canada)
