| Charles Chowa is a doctoral candidate in the College of Business at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis. His major is Information Systems. He is at the dissertation proposal stage in his studies. His dissertation deals with the alignment between Information Systems Strategy and Business Strategy and how this alignment affects firm Performance. This topic is currently important due to the overwhelming pervasiveness of computer technology and the subsequent large sums of money invested by organizations in the acquisition and use of IT. Charles hopes to complete his PhD degree in 2007.
