The Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM) is a student lobbying organization funded and operated by students. Established as the student voice in state government in 1975, ASUM represents the interests of the University of Missouri System students to legislators in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C.
ASUM has a strong record of success and influence that makes it the premier opportunity for students who desire hands-on political experience. At the federal level, ASUM has established strong ties with Missouri's congressional delegation and national organizations with whom we share common interests.
