Class Rosters/Grades/Transcripts

Following registration each semester, adjunct faculty will receive a class roster for the Advanced Credit course(s) they are offering at their high school. The class roster(s) will be accompanied by student identification cards for the students enrolled for advanced credit. Adjunct faculty are encouraged to check the accuracy of the rosters and identification cards. Any discrepancies should be reported to the Advanced Credit office.

Approximately early December and late April, official University grade sheets will be mailed to adjunct faculty for completion along with a detailed instruction sheet. Upon completion of the Advanced Credit course(s), adjunct faculty will issue a grade to students enrolled in their course(s) for advanced credit. Grade sheets will be returned to the Advanced Credit office for processing. After the grades have been posted to the students' transcripts, an official University grade report will be mailed to the home of each student. Students expecting to receive a grade of D or F are advised to contact the Advanced Credit office to drop the course before the grade is issued.

Please be aware that because the high school semester differs somewhat from the University semester, students may receive a blank grade report. This simply means the high school grade sheets were not available in time for the University's system to process through normal channels. Once the grades are posted to the students' transcripts, a completed grade report will be mailed to the home of each student.

Students may obtain an official copy of their University of Missouri-St. Louis transcript by requesting and completing a transcript request form from the Advanced Credit office or by writing to the Office of Records and Transcripts, UM-St. Louis, One University Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63121-4400. There is a $5.00 fee for each transcript requested.

Credit earned at the University of Missouri-St. Louis through the Advanced Credit Program is transferable to other colleges and universities according to their transfer policies. Students are advised to contact the Director of Admissions at the college or university of their choice with questions regarding acceptance and transferability.

An adjunct faculty member may formally change or modify a grade by requesting a Grade Change form from the Advanced Credit office. The University of Missouri-St. Louis Bulletin provides other information regarding the grading system.
