Student Eligibility

Student EligibilityThe Advanced Credit Program is open to juniors and seniors in area high schools with a 3.0 grade point average who have the ability to meet the increased demands and responsibilities of college-level work. Advanced Credit courses, as well as the instructors, meet high standards and requirements for approval for inclusion in the program. Students enrolled in the Advanced Credit Program are required to have counselor and/or teacher approval.

High school sophomores may take foreign language courses by meeting one of the following: 

• Have an overall GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) and a GPA of 3.5 in the foreign language.

• Score 90th percentile or above on the PSAT, PLAN, SAT, or ACT test.
